  • [Must-Read] Rules and Guidelines for Using Albe Hall Nagoya|Essential Tips for a Comfortable Experience

Located in the heart of Nagoya, Albe Hall Nagoya is a versatile rental space ideal for exhibitions, pop-up shops, seminars, photo shoots, and more. Its spacious layout and convenient location make it a popular choice, but to ensure a comfortable experience for all users, certain rules must be followed.

In this article, we’ve clearly separated and explained the prohibited acts and important precautions for using Albe Hall Nagoya. Whether you’re planning to book or already have a reservation, please take a moment to read through and prepare accordingly.

Prohibited Acts – These Are Strictly Forbidden

The following actions are strictly prohibited at Albe Hall Nagoya. Violation of any of these rules may result in immediate eviction or denial of future use.

■ Bringing Pets

As a general rule, pets are not allowed on the premises. This includes dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and all other animals. Exceptions may be made for specially trained animals used for photography or media production, but prior approval is required. Unauthorized entry with animals may result in immediate removal from the facility. This rule is in place to protect guests with allergies, and to ensure hygiene and safety for all users.

■ Smoking Outside of Designated Areas

The entire venue is a non-smoking facility. Smoking—including electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products—is strictly prohibited indoors. Please use designated smoking areas outside the building. Smoking in shared spaces such as entrances or near elevators may result in complaints from other tenants and damage the reputation of the facility. Be sure to follow proper smoking etiquette.

■ Occupying Spaces Outside the Rental Area

Albe Hall Nagoya is located within a multi-tenant building. Occupying shared areas such as the 1st-floor entrance, elevator lobby, hallways, and staircases is prohibited. Do not place photography equipment or personal belongings in these areas, and avoid having staff or guests linger there. Such behavior may lead to complaints and could result in the cancellation of your rental. Please be mindful during move-in and move-out times.

■ Excessive Exposure and Related Activities

Activities that violate public order and morality are strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of micro bikinis, excessive nudity, sexually suggestive poses or costumes, explicit character portrayals, extreme low-angle photography, or any adult-content-related filming. If you’re unsure whether your intended use is acceptable, please consult us in advance. Any violation discovered without prior notice will result in immediate eviction and prohibition of future use.

■ Use for Parties or Social Gatherings

Although parties and social gatherings were previously allowed, we unfortunately had to restrict such usage due to repeated rule violations and complaints from other tenants and the building management. As such, parties and social events are no longer permitted. Additionally, the use of alcoholic beverages is generally restricted. If you have a special request that involves alcohol, you must contact us in advance for permission. Unauthorized party usage may result in suspension or termination of your event.

Important Precautions – Please Review Before Your Visit

While not strictly prohibited, observing the following precautions will ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for all users. We appreciate your cooperation not just for your own benefit, but for the next guest as well.

■ Please Return the Space to Its Original Condition

You are free to rearrange furniture and use available equipment during your booking. However, please ensure that everything is returned to its original place and the space is left clean before departure. Spills, leftover trash, or other signs of neglect may result in additional cleaning or damage fees. We recommend setting aside 5 to 10 minutes at the end of your session for cleanup and reset.

■ Rental Time Includes Setup and Cleanup

Your booking time includes setup, the event itself, and cleanup. Early entry or exceeding your rental time is not allowed. Since other guests may be using the space before or after you, it’s crucial to adhere to your time slot. Using the venue outside the agreed hours undermines the reservation system, so please be mindful. Consider staff scheduling and time management to ensure timely operations.

■ Do Not Linger Outside the Space or in Shared Areas

Waiting, chatting, or preparing for your event in the building’s shared areas—especially near entrances—is not allowed. The 1st-floor entry sees frequent foot traffic, and loitering could result in warnings from building management. Please ensure that your group gathers and waits inside the rental space, and limit time spent outside the space as much as possible.

■ Keep Volume Under Control

Albe Hall Nagoya is not equipped with full soundproofing. If your event involves music, cheering, or large groups, please be considerate of surrounding tenants. Use of loudspeakers, group performances, or vocal activities may be restricted depending on the nature of your event. Noise complaints have occurred in the past. Repeated issues may lead to restrictions on facility use. If you have concerns about noise levels, consult us in advance.

■ Exercise Caution with Open Flames or Heating Equipment

Fire hazards are a major concern, and open flames are generally not allowed. If your event requires the use of warming equipment or candles for production purposes, you must receive prior approval. Safety checks will be conducted, and any fire-related devices must be handled with extreme care to avoid triggering alarms or disturbing other tenants.

■ Use Only Approved Tape for Wall Decorations

If you plan to post signs or decorations on the walls, use only masking tape or protective painter’s tape to avoid damage. Do not use strong adhesives, double-sided tape, pins, or nails. These can cause wallpaper damage, resulting in repair charges. Please confirm acceptable methods with our staff if you’re planning a decorative setup.

■ Consult Us Before Using Strong Fragrances (e.g., Aroma, Incense)

Products such as essential oils and incense can leave lingering odors that may affect subsequent users. In particular, events like exhibitions and photo shoots require a neutral environment. If you need to use such items, please consult us beforehand. Depending on the scent and schedule, we may be able to approve usage under certain conditions.

Summary – Follow the Rules for a Smooth Rental Experience

At Albe Hall Nagoya, we welcome many users daily. That’s exactly why following basic rules is so important. A simple oversight—thinking “just this once is okay”—can lead to major trouble.

By respecting the rules, you not only enjoy a better experience yourself, but also help build trust with future guests and our facility staff. Whether it’s your first time or you’re a repeat user, please review the prohibited acts and important precautions before your visit.

If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. Depending on your intended use, there may be additional guidelines, so feel free to ask for clarification in advance.
